Apila Group’s versatile expertise in enhancing circular economy solutions and reducing CO2 emissions in the construction industry convinced the Foundation’s Board of Directors and those involved in the selection.
The grant was awarded for the development of a calculation model related to the material properties of different side streams, and for the creation of a prototype of the resulting new model. The development work aims to accelerate the cost-effective and material-wise utilization of challenging waste materials in future construction products.
The award was presented at The Finnish Real Estate Summit in Tampere, on the 12th of November.
Finnish Building Services Industries and Trade (Talteka), The Confederation of Finnish Construction Industries RT (CFCI) and RAKLI ry participated in the selection of the winning company. The decision on the winner was made by the board of the foundation.
