Apila Group Oy’s general meeting has appointed Jouko Nieminen and Irene Kantor as new board members.
Jouko Nieminen leads the Circular Economy Solutions unit at the Geological Research Center (GTK). He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning and management and extensive experience in B2B sales and marketing development. Irene Kantor has been building systematic board work at Sorcolor Oy and worked in the management teams of Kojamo Oy and SEK Group. Irene is an expert in strategy and change management and a communication professional.
Appointing new board members strengthens Apila Group as the industry’s most agile R&D partner in implementing concrete circular economy solutions. Managing Director Mervi Matilainen welcomes the new board members: “I look forward to a dynamic and courageous dialogue with these professionals, and thereby a new spurt to sharpening our services, increasing our visibility and domestic and international growth.”
Pirjo Rinnepelto (chairperson) and Mervi Matilainen will continue on the board.
