Vitrulan Composites Oy wanted to find a business cooperation model for utilising the glass and carbon fibre waste generated in production. The properties of glass and carbon fibre waste in composite materials and their possible industrial applications were investigated. Industrial companies representing different industries were contacted to create commercially sustainable business cooperation around the use of glass and carbon fibre waste. A joint meeting was held with the material producer and the companies interviewed. In addition, the customer work included an assessment of the economic conditions of the ecosystem model and the boundary conditions of the value chain actors and an examination of the profitability of the cooperation models.
