In addition to the student groups’ expert sparring, the project included an innovation lecture.
Apila Group coached international student groups in the “Eastern Finland’s development of international bioeconomy competence through work life-oriented continuous learning (Join-Bioerko)” project. A circular economy-themed Hackathon was organized in connection with the CircularBio Innovations training carried out in April-May 2022. Apila Group gave an innovation lecture at the Hackathon and provided expert coaching to student groups in projects whose topics were, for example, circular economy, reducing and preventing waste in industrial processes, recycling, and sustainable community development.
